Bianco del Ticino DOC
Initially produced with Chasselas and Merlot grapes, from 1995 onwards with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot, now with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. A wine with a fresh and lively nose, with notes of citrus, rose and apricot. The palate is very fresh with hints of citrus. It has a good sapidity. This wine can only improve with a period of bottle ageing. Excellent as an aperitif or on appetizers or light pasta dishes.

85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Nero
Origin
Boscherina, Lugano. The Chardonnay vineyard is located in the Mendrisiotto area, on calcareous and clayey soil, soil with a high water capacity potential. The vineyard is 20 years old. The Pinot Noir comes from Moncucchetto, the vineyard is 20 years old. East-facing on soil of granite origin, with a high organic matter content. Very draining soils with an average potential water reserve capacity.
Vinification
Soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel barrels for the Pinot Noir and partially for the Chardonnay. 1/3 of the Chardonnay is fermented in barriques and matured there for a period of 5 months. Malic retrogradation takes place completely for the Pinot Noir.
