The 2025/2026 season of Una storia in bottiglia (A Story in a Bottle) concludes on the evening of 26 February at Locanda Orico in Bellinzona.
It closes with fireworks, accompanying the creations of Michelin-starred chef Lorenzo Albrici – the longest-serving Michelin star in Ticino: and that must mean something – there will be wines by Cristina Monico, a skilled and modern oenologist, head of the Moncucchetto winery in Lugano.
Participants in the “Una storia in bottiglia” evenings will be welcomed with a gourmet amuse-bouche, an opportunity to get to know the evening’s producer, perhaps while enjoying (but not obligatory) a glass of fine sparkling wine.
This will be followed by a sequence of dishes – from starters to first courses, main courses and desserts – each accompanied by a different wine, which will have the task and honour of enhancing the food served. The cost for each participant will be a flat rate and will include everything served at the table, from the welcome from the kitchen to coffee.
