Appellation: Bianco del Ticino DOC
A wine with a straw yellow colour with golden notes. Fine and persistent mousse. Character of ripe fruit and light notes of brioche. It denotes a nice freshness and good persistence. This wine is a splendid accompaniment to aperitifs or to fish, shellfish and oysters.
Variety: 85 % Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Nero
Origin: Boscherina, Lugano. The Chardonnay vineyard is located in the Mendrisiotto area, on calcareous and clayey soil, soil with a high potential water capacity. The vineyard is 20 years old. The Pinot Noir comes from Moncucchetto, the vineyard is 20 years old. East-facing on soil of granite origin, with a high organic matter content. Very draining soils with an average potential water reserve capacity.
Vinification: Bottle fermented. Bottling takes place in spring. Secondary fermentation in the bottle and élevage sur lie for approximately 24 months.
